The perfect way to start a day is to watch the sun rising. It goes beyond the visual; it refreshes your soul and fills you with hope. And one of the most beautiful places to photograph a sunrise is here at North Avoca. The few people present were blessed to witness this glorious dawn. The fishermen give a sense of scale to the dramatic setting, as the blurry seagull in the foreground is dancing around feasting on whatever the waves wash in. The tide is rather high and the waves crashing on the sand, then receding back into the ocean, create mirror-like reflections on the sand to magnify the dazzling heavens. It reminds me of a line out of Cy Coleman’s song, “The rhythm of life is a powerful beat; puts a tingle in your fingers and a tingle in your feet.”
